Meaning, Quality, and Integrity of Degrees: Sharing Ideas and Resources

This lunchtime dialogue will focus on participants’ current efforts to ensure degree rigor, student success, and institutional quality using WSCUC’s Meaning, Quality, and Integrity of Degree (MQID) standards with the intention that participants will share resources and best practices. Purposely authored for relevance and adaptability to the range of WSCUC higher education institutions, the interpretation and application of these MQID standards necessarily requires institutions to rethink, reflect, and enable positive change regarding assessment of student learning, data collection, curriculum, instruction, graduate dispositions, and degree expectations. Leveraging on the wisdom of the crowd, this session offers a casual space for collegial information-sharing about current interpretations and applications of the meaning, quality and integrity of the degree in higher education.
