The Common Core: Implications for Higher Education

K-12 school personnel are talking non-stop about the Common Core, but what do we need to think about and plan for? Join us for an informal discussion about the Common Core and its implications for higher education. Together we will explore such questions as: What might colleges expect from students educated from this approach? To what extent will the Common Core promote higher-level thinking in our students? How might institutions partner with K-12 education to learn more about the Common Core? Is Common Core K-12 the beginning of Common Core Higher Ed?
