Retention in higher education is a complex phenomenon that may best be examined with a mixture of: methods, levels of data, and stakeholder perspectives. The challenges and possible solutions often vary depending upon stakeholder’s perspective. Multiple perspectives can support discussions, strategic planning, and decision making regarding courses and instructors.
