Combining Qualitative, Non-Verbal Imagery, and Quantitative Elements in Focus Groups

Focus groups are typically seen as one of the qualitative research methods (Morgan, 1996). This presentation will illustrate newer focus group methodology, which combines traditional group interview and sticky-note elements with the drawing exercise and mini-surveys to provide rich data while allowing for efficient use of research time.
