As a result of participating in CSULB’s Highly Valued Degree Initiative (HVDI) committee, campus-wide assessment experts on the committee have formed a partnership to design and implement a strategic assessment plan to enhance student learning, development and success through the use of three large scale survey programs.

Assuring Student Engagement to Promote Student Success: Maximizing NSSE Use

Students who are engaged in educationally effective practices are more likely to succeed in college. This session highlights NSSE findings, introduces the Accreditation Toolkit, and showcases how Loyola Marymount involved students in its survey efforts, partnered with student affairs to explore diverse experiences, and is using results to study mission and guide student success initiatives.
