This presentation will share how MCU's redesign of Developmental English, Freshman Seminar and Senior Capstone is empowering faculty in their disciplines while the university invests in specialized support.

Assessment During a Time of Major Campus Transformation: Is It Possible?

Cal State LA embarked on major changes in September 2013. The problem was how to maintain a focus on assessment. As part of semester conversion, departments were encouraged to re-envision/transform their curriculum/programs. Results include: curriculum mapping, revision of programmatic SLOs, and the rewriting of course-level SLOs.
