Topic: Assessment In Student Affairs
At Pitzer College, assessment of co-curricular programs is implemented separately from assessment of academic programs. Using program mapping of co-curricular student learning outcomes, we found that there is cross-over to academic outcomes. This lends itself to the potential of assessing certain student learning outcomes across the college.
Assessment in Student Affairs can be challenging without a set roadmap, clear standards, or a starting point for where to begin the process. In this session, participants will join the evolving conversation on assessment within Student Affairs and gain helpful insights for navigating the assessment journey at their institution.
