Proficiency as a Framework for Learning that Matters
Proficiency is the ability to integrate component knowledge and skills and apply knowledge skillfully to address meaningful issues and problems. This hands-on workshop will introduce a research-based model of proficiency and its development. We will use that model to design outcomes, brainstorm curriculum and instruction, and consider how to assess proficiency.
