Integrating Interventions: THE CSU STEM Collaboratives Project
This project is designed to apply grass-roots expertise and strong, continuous evaluation to solve two persistent problems in STEM education: student attrition and institutional inertia. Our project promotes seamless approaches between admission and the second year that supports improved student persistence, deeper content knowledge, and more dispositional learning. We hope to see a reduction of achievement gaps and improved persistence into subsequent terms as a result. We propose a new conception of the status quo.
