Backward is the New Forward: A Step by Step Innovative Approach to Assessment, Teaching, and Learning

After experiencing both traditional and CBE approaches to teaching and learning, the presenters advocate backwards design as the most forward-thinking process to effectively align curriculum to learning outcomes. In this session, participants will practice a step-by-step backwards design process they can apply to traditional or competency-based education at their institutions.
